Is SweepMe! open-source?
Last Updated 4 years ago

All Device Classes, that describe the communication with external hardware, are distributed open-source and if possible under MIT license (https://opensource.org/licenses/MIT). It means that you can use these files not only with SweepMe! but also in your own projects. Other parts of SweepMe! are not open-source. Still, you can always modify and create your own Device Classes to prove whether the returned values are correct and whether they are correctly handled by SweepMe!. Especially, scientists always have the chance to make sure that measured values are correctly processed.
